About Xi’an

As most of people have known, Xi’an has been one of the best international tourist destinations due to its splendid history and culture. Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell tower and Ancient City Wall have attracted millions tourists all over the world every year. More than that, Xi’an city has been one of the most important cities in China in many categories including advanced education, modern technology development, aviation and aerospace. The city has more than 50 government-sponsored universities and colleges, and more than 600 research institutions, which have significantly contributed to modern industrial and technology development of China.

Xi’an Hi-Tech Zone is one of the best Hi-Tech Parks approved by State Council in 1991, with more than 100 square kilometers planning area, where more than 12000 companies have registered, including many Fortunate 500 and multinationals like GE, IBM, Emerson, Honeywell, UTC, Bosch, Oracle, Applied Materials and Intel, etc. Fully utilizing the competitive advantages of high quality talents, efficient transportation system and sufficient utilities supply, Xi’an Hi-Tech Zone has grown to one of the best Hi-Tech Parks in China.

In June, State Council approved Xi-Xian New District after Shanghai Pudong, Tianjin Binhai and Chongqing Liangjiang, and will issue significant incentives to development the area in the next ten years. Central government has decided to build Xi’an to be one of the International Metropolitans after Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. We strongly believe that the best time for Xi’an city is coming.

Weaver Mobile’s first product is WeConnect, a mobile application to facilitate interactions and communications in real-world social events. Specifically serving the scenarios where online social and offline social intertwine, it strives to solve the problem where event goers rely on multiple tools and social platforms for their typical actions on an event, such as, to preview attendee information, exchange contact information, keep notes, and follow up with people. WeConnect allows event goers to smoothly interact and communicate with other attendees in a seamlessly integrated environment, eliminating the need to go in and out of disparate set of social tools and to synchronize information among them.
